How crypto profit is calculated
Your investment amount is divided by the cryptocurrency's buy price to calculate how many coins you could purchase.
Those coins are then multiplied by the sell price to estimate their final value. Your original investment is subtracted from that value to calculate the profit or loss.
The percentage return shows how much your investment increased or decreased compared with the amount you originally invested.
